Nutrisystem Diet How do you get started on a Nutrisystem diet? After you log onto the website and read the information, all you have to do is choose the program that's right for you. The options are listed on the left-hand side: * Men's program * Silver for Men * Women's program * Silver for Women * Type 11 Diabetes * All Vegetarian The Silver programs are for those who are over the age of 60.
Once you choose the proper program, then you choose meals and snacks for the first 28 days. There are more than 120 foods you can choose from, which are all pre-packaged and delivered right to your door. For each day of the month, you choose one breakfast, one lunch and one dinner as well as a snack and dessert. If you are not sure which foods to choose, you can save yourself some time and simply choose a pre-selected package which contains all the foods that have been listed as favorites by others who have lost weight on this program.
When you meals arrive, you will also find a Welcome Kit containing a meal planner. This is only the size of a checkbook, so you can easily fit it in your purse or briefcase. This planner provides you with the details of how to follow the program. For each day, you choose one of the appropriate Nutri System foods and add fresh fruits and vegetables to complete your meal. You can also eat fruits during the day, since the key is to eat often during the day so you won't feel hungry.
Each meal is the proper portion, so you won't have to weigh or measure any food or count points. You won't be tempted to have that second helping either. The foods you eat on this diet are low glycemic foods with good carbs, and they also contain the right amount of proteins for your body.
